Earth Day is celebrated on 22nd of April to raise awareness of the importance of caring for, protecting and preserving the planet, its
natural resources and those who inhabit it. Therefore, it is up to ALL OF US to adopt attitudes that avoid environmental contamination, minimise the impact of the damage on Nature, promote sustainable development and allow the conservation of biodiversity.
Investing in our planet was the theme chosen for 2023, thus raising the importance of changing strategies and “devoting more time, resources and energy to solving environmental problems”.
In this context, in Colégio Guadalupe, this day was marked with awareness-raising dynamics on the subject, where students could participate in debates between classes (Brain Storming), built thematic panels, made illustrations, listened to stories, watched films, among other activities, which allowed them to become a little more aware of the problems that affect their/our planet.
